Woke up this moring from a nightmare that had gotten far too real for me

Nightmare had turned into flashbacks

Woke up and cried

Cause I realized just how much I want to be with him

I want to wake up next to him

I want to feel him holding me tight

Keeping me safe

Wipeing my tears away

I want to hear him say that everything is ok nothing and noone is going to hurt me

I want to cry in his arms

I want him to care for me when im ever soo sick

I want him to be there for me when my dog (aphro) takes her last breathe

I want him to be there when I freak out. At night cause I think someone is trying to hurt me

I want him to me smile that he makes me smile just with the tought of him

I want him to be there when im extremely depressed ...... and feel like there nothing left but the end

I want to feel safe

Sooo many people are fake/now adays

Why are they fake you may ask

Well there are some main reasons to this

1. They want to fit in

2. They are trying to impress someone

3. They want to be someone they not

4. They are jellous

5. They are unhappy

6. They are uncomfortable with who they really are

7. They think that it will get them farther in life

These are only some reasons why people are fake

You may ask how I know these reasons well

Well im constantly find out that people who I think are my friends turn out to be completelyfakes and are useing me pr for one of the reasons above ..... there are many more reasons

But im not here to list them all

Why is it that our souls started soo bright and colorful

....... through the many years that have passed

............. they have become sooo dark and dim

Why do we hide our feeling from the ones we love

...... why do we listen to the music that we do

... why do we calm ourselfs with music

...... why is the about what we really want to do

Why have we came to this

During her annual check-up, a pretty young woman was asked to disrobe and climb onto the examining table. 'Doctor, she said shyly, I can't undress in front of you. That's ok he said. I'll flick off the lights. You get undressed and tell me when your done. A few minutes later, Her voice rang out in darkness, Doctor, I've undressed, what should I do with my cloths? And the doctor said. JUST PUT THEM ON TOP OF MINE!

I’m sure you are wondering, “What the hell are you talking about?” I will fill you in.

My friend went to the local Chester County SPCA a couple of weeks ago and adopted a 2 year old Cockapoo. He is a sweet little boy named Max. That is the name he came with, and here is his story.

does crying cause i just want to be with him make me weak?

am i weak because i cry myself to sleep cause i wish that he was laying next to me holding me close?

am i weak because i do all that i can just to talk to him?

am i weak cause i have to keep myself busy everyday trying not to worry bout him?

does the fact that seeing people in pictures with their significant others make burst out in tears cause i want to feel his lips pressed against mine?

does it make me weak cause i hold back tears when im on the phone with him till he hangs up....then i bust out in tears?

does it make me weak that im crying right now?

does it make me weak that hes voice makes me smile from ear to ear?

does it make me weak that i have this pain in my chest cause i want to be with him?

i have a simple place in this house

and my place in this house is to pick up after people

when i say people i mean everyone

why dont you give me

sing dancing (vary talented) mice

and old raggy dress and a bucket and mop

oh dont forget the birds that are ever sooo sweet to me

a carriage thats really a pumpkin

and horses that are really some the mice

carriage driver thats really the dog

people think that i dont know shit

people tell me that i need to leave them alone or leave someone be

because they dont see what i see

i see alot of things that others dont

i fucking hate this

i see her slipping away from what she know i see her becoming what she dont want to be i reach out to help her ........but she wont take it from me .........and im trying ...im doing the best that i know how ...my eyes tear up because i cant believe she would do this to herself ... she going down the same path as her mother ...and im trying to keep her from it cause i know that she wont last down that path

i used to be the person that she looked up to i used to be the person that she came to for advice

not all of them have sounds of joyful happenings

and she has drifted off the path that was lighted

she has gone through the woods

how do i get her back on that path

the path where she dont have to worry about the darkness

and the things that happen in that darkness

i want to save her

im trying to save her

she dont see what i see

she wont listen to me

the path where she is going to get hurt

she used to see me as her mother figure

there is no right or wrong definition of love

there is only interpretation of the meaning love

and this is mine .....

some say that love isnt real

some say that its easy to find

some say that you can buy it

some say that its the reason for life

but i say that its a difficult thing to put a label on

and with each person it is differant

you may find your love when your young or old

your love may be your best friend whos always been there through everything

or your love may be the stranger that passes by when your shopping

some say that you change for the that you love

some say that you have to give your life up for love

some say that you have to change everything that you know for love

i say that love is the way that someone feels when they are with someone that makes him completely happy the way that they are

that they love everything bout the person that makes them happy

that they are perfect in every way to that person

that nothing can change the way that they feel bout this person

that you dont have to change anything for this person because they love you the way that you are

that this love is what makes you happy and

the happiness is the only thing important in life

thats the reason for life is to be happy

to be happy till the day that your life is over

the point of life is to die happy

and with this i can honestly say i love the guy that im with

that i love him and thats never gonna change

because he makes me happy

he i wish to live with him shortly after my birthday

you may ask why i didnt say his name but i dont have to because

he knows who he is and if your important then you know who he is too

otherwise you dont matter

The History of Radio Past – Present

The beginning of radio actually began with the invention of instruments that operated using radio waves. The development of the radio began with the technology of wireless telegraphy. The development of wireless telegraphy began way back in the 1800’s and continued through to the early 1900’s by several scientist. So actually no one person can truthfully lay a claim on the invention of the radio.

The key invention that was responsible for the beginnings of radio, was the invention of what was called the spark gap transmitter. This transmitter came into large usage after the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, After which wireless telegraphy through means of the spark gap transmitter became a universal instrument on large ships. These were later replaced with what was known as the continuous wave transmitter.

The very first Audio broadcast took place in 1906 on Christmas Eve from Brant Rock Massachusetts, when ships at sea heard “O’ Holy Night” played on a violin and the reading of a passage from the Bible. From there audio broadcasting took off in its development. Audio radio went through several changes in its development during the time of 1919 – 1950’s with the technology of radio instruments such as the crystal sets and the vacuum tubes.

The crystal set is what enabled audio radio through the use of amplitude modulation (AM radio) in which more than one station could send out signals, as apposed to the spark gap transmitter which could only send out one signal. The vacuum tube revolutionized the use of receivers and transmitters in the 1920’s. Even today there is a small but avid group of people that still study this and use radio technology to build crystal sets as a hobby. One such group is the Boy Scouts of America which use this type of project to introduce their members to the knowledge of electronics and radio.

In the 1920s, the United States Government Publication for the Construction and Operation of a Simple Homemade Radio Receiving Outfit, showed how almost any person handy with simple tools could a build an effective crystal radio receiver.

On August 27th 1920, was the beginning of radio broadcasting for entertainment purposes in the country of Argentina. On August 31st 1920 the very first news program was broadcast from the unlicensed predecessor of the station WWJ (AM Radio) out of Detroit Michigan. In 1922 regular wireless broadcasting for entertainment purposes began in the UK. In the 1920’s the Westinghouse Company bought out several patents of the early scientists that started the beginnings of wireless radio and had their engineers further develop a more modern vacuum tube.

In October of 1920 KDKA in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania became the first US commercially licensed broadcast radio station. Although their own engineer Frank Conrad had been broadcasting from his own personal station since 1916, technically KDKA was the first of several existing station at the time to receive a “limited Commercial” license. Prior to this, the University of Wisconsin in Madison had been broadcasting human speech to the public at large on their station 9XM. They operated on what was referred to as an experimental license since 1914. In 1916 they began their regular Morse code transmissions, and in 1917 they aired their first music broadcast. Their station is still in operation today and is known as WHA- AM. However, on August 20th 1920, two months prior to KDKA starting their regular broadcast (Unlicensed till after KDKA already had their license), WBL known now as WWJ in Detroit started their first regular broadcast and continued their regular broadcasts to the present. However, history does tell us that Charles David Herrold’s radio service did not receive his license first, was known as KCBS in the in San Francisco in 1909, and is also still broadcasting today.

In the times of the 1920’s radio was not supported by advertising or listener sponsorships. many stations were usually owned by manufactures and department stores, and were set up to sell radios. Some stations were owned by the newspapers and greatly expressed the opinions of the owners.

In 1933 FM radio got its start with its inventor Edwin H. Armstrong. FM radio had the ability to actually use radio wave technology to minimize static and interference in the audio program from the equipment and the atmosphere, through the means of frequency modulation. W1XOJ was granted a construction permit by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and was the first experimental FM station in 1937. FM radio was not broadcast in European countries until after the end of World War II when it was introduced in the country of Germany in 1948. Germany had already has some experience in the past with amplitude modulation with their use of the VHF radio, and realized that FM radio was clearly a better replacement choice for there VHF system they had been using than AM radio would be.

Later in the 20th century their were radio developments that also furthered the use of radio and acclimated radio usage to being more frequently used on the go. These developments include the transistor radio, which was operated on a battery power system by use of a 22.5 standard battery. Aircraft had previously used AM radios stations for navigational purposes, but in the early1960’s aircraft navigation was greatly improved with the widespread use of the VOR (VHF Omni-directional Range) system. In 1960 the Sony Corporation introduced their version of the transistor radio that ran on a very small battery and was small enough to fit into a vest size pocket. This transistorized style of radio was very durable, due to the fact that it did not use the use of tubes which burn out and would needed replacing. Eventually over the span of about the next 20 years the use of transistorized radios caused the use of the vacuum tube radios to become completely displaced, except for the use of them in picture tubes or in very high power and frequency usages.

The use of telex on radio (telegraphy) however greatly increased. By use of the land lines in the 1930’s the automated encoded teletypewriter was adapted to use pulse-code dialing to utilize automated routing in the service known as telex. The telex was known for being the absolute cheapest for of long distance communications, due to the fact that up to 25 telex channels could occupy the same bandwidth as one single voice channel. It was a great advantage in businesses and the Government to use this telex service for the directly produced transmission of written documents. Telex systems were eventually adapted to the use of short-wave radio by the sending of tones over a single band. The most advanced pure-telex system incorporated the ability of character level error detection and retransmission as well as the use of automated encoding and routing. Telex on radio for many years was the only reliable source of communications that could even reach some third world countries.

In the 21st century came the development of internet radio. There are no radio transmitters needed to broadcast radio over the internet. Instead, internet radio operates by the sending of radio-style audio programming over a streaming internet connection.

From the very beginning radio has had several legal issues all the way from patents on inventions from the very onset, all the way to the present issues of copyright usage laws. And even though laws and regulations have also been changed to conform to these issues over the growth and times of radio, radio will probably grow and change still in the future with even newer developments in technology and its usage. By no means do I believe radio has reached its full potential or growth, and it will be interesting to see the continued growth and changes that it takes on in the future.

How Spazz Radio Came To Be

SpazzRadio started 2 years ago as a hobby of mine. In the beginning, the music would be on auto pilot most of the time and I would DJ occasionally after work. After a while, I had a couple friends who wanted to DJ also .... and so it began.

By the end of 2008, SpazzRadio had live DJ's scheduled more then 50% of the time and in Early 2009, we decided to go 24/7 Live DJ's.

I was still paying for SpazzRadio out of pocket, and decided that if it was not at least paying for itself by the end of 2009, then I would shut it down. I tried to attract advertisers with little success. I joined an automated advertising system, but was getting paid less then web banners pay. As a 'last resort', SpazzRadio became listener supported and has been self sufficient since October 2009. Who would have thought that Listener supported would make more money then paying advertisers?

Things are going so well that we even started sharing some of the proceeds with our volunteer DJ's. It is not much, but usually adds up to $15-20 per month for each of them.
