Ancestry: I did music as a subject in Nairobi School( Nairobi Kenya), where I joined the school choir, participating in music events, festivals and so on, for two years, then I relocated to Mombasa were I joined Aga Khan Kenya Secondary (was a private and separate branch of Aga Khan schools then), finished in 2002; and in Feb. 2003, I came back to Nairobi to continue with theory of music, which I did till grade 4.
I have been playing the guitar since 1996. After completing the grade 4 theory exam, I began teaching guitar at the same school and much later on, elementary Piano, which I still do to date.

Credits :My first stint with the industry was mid, 2003 when I met The Votaries, who were recording their debut album FAITHFULNESS and I would spend many a free day with them, playing the guitar and consequently on particular songs in their album. I was introduced to the executive producer, Steve 'Steve-O' Ominde of SOULCHILD RECORDS, who worked with one of the members of Votaries, Ben 'Gittx' Gitau.
In September 2003, I signed on to the label and began working on the debut album, OUTSIDE MY WINDOW, i worked with Richard Kasika ('the real RK') on Bairiki's single, Leo ni Leo as an instrumentalist, worked with Ben "Gittx" Gitau on the Votaries album, on two songs.I did all the tracks on my album with Gittx, collaborated with KIKI, Holy Dave, Votaries and worked closely with Steve "O" of the Soul child studio's as a studio artist and instrumentalist. worked with K.K. (Kamau Karongo) on 'Ngoro Yakwa'! ( All artistes and producers named above are Kenyan based).

Won the inaugural One gospel awards 2008 in all 3 nominated categories; Best live performance, best R&B artiste and best R&B song, ‘The place’.
